Yanagi Nagi

Let me introduce her again, alright!

Yanagi Nagi or simply known as Nagi is a singer-songwriter born from Kansai, Japan on May 31, 1987. From the year 2007 - 2008, she goes under the name Gazelle as an utaite and submits cover versions of songs, specially VOCALOID songs, to Nico Nico Douga and to add, she was an extremely popular singer.

Yanagi Nagi also became a guest vocalist for Supercell from 2009 - 2011. This happened because on the year 2007 when Ryo, leader of Supercell, released a song Melt, on the next day Nagi uploaded her own over cover and it was here where she came in contact with Ryo. Nagi, who was a fan of Ryo herself, contacted him and the two talked about someday collaborating together. Ryo, who was a fan of Yanagi's voice even before uploading his own songs to Nico Nico Douga, approached her to sing the vocals for Supercell's debut single Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari. She also have done the vocals for the second album release of Supercell, Today Is A Beautiful Day.

She has also contributed to Visual Novels, Games, and even Anime OP's and ED's.

I really like her voice and I think it's cute and small. I love how she hits the high notes. And how she worked her way up from an artist/utaite who does cover songs, to a professional singer. I really envy people like her who is passionate and I hope that someday I can also be a passionate person who is not afraid to take risks and continue following what I want. Anyways, sorry for getting sidetracked again and again but I hope you guys who still doesn't heard of her to go check her out~
